How to Install 3D Lettering using Standoffs?

3D Acrylic Letter Installation:

  1. Ensure the wall is clean, dry & free of any dust.
  2. Place the provided template in order on a flat surface and align them by lining up the letter outlines.
  3. Use masking tape to fix the pieces together.
  4. Use some masking tape to fit the template to the wall and ensure it is level and centred to the position you want it.
  5. Mark all standoff holes with a pencil.
  6. Remove the template from the wall.
  7. Drill holes for fixing the standoffs to the wall but DO NOT mount the standoffs.
  8. Vacuum and clean all dust off the wall.
  9. Refit template to wall, ensure the template is fitted exactly as it was before and recheck for level.
  10. If you are including subtext that has an adhesive backing, peel the masking off and stick acrylic letters to the wall, and then remove the template.
  11. Fix the standoffs to the wall (i.e the female end of the standoff)
  12. Press each letter into position ensuring care is taken to avoid breaking the acrylic, i.e try to press in line with the standoff.
  13. Wash hands and then carefully peel off the protective layer off the front of the letters
How to Install 3D Acrylic Letters with double sided adhesive?
  1. Place the provided signage template order on a flat surface and align them by lining up the letter outlines.
  2. Use masking tape to fix the pieces together.
  3. Use some masking tape to fit the template to the wall and ensure it is level and centred to the position you want it.
  4. Peel the double sided adhesive backing off letters one at a time and stick them into position ensuring adequate pressure is applied.
  5. Once all of the letters are applied to the wall, remove the template.
  6. Wash hands and then carefully peel off the protective layer off the front of the letters
